Innisfil
Game Time: 7:30pm
Richmond Hill Set to Face Innisfil
The Richmond Hill Rams have been waiting patiently to start their playoff run, as they took a bye in the first round. The team has been practicing hard the past couple weeks, keeping in shape and getting prepared for their first round of playoffs in the 2007-2008 season. The Rams have fared well against Innisfil, winning both of the last two games they played against them in the season.. The first two games were earlier in the season when the Rams were still putting things together. Once the players were settled and the coaching staff had come up with a few successful line combinations, the Rams have been on a tear, winning 19 of their last 25 games, including wins against Bradford, Innisfil (2), King City, Temiscaming, Deseronto and Elliot Lake.

Rams/Kings Announce Major Sponsorship Agreement (January 8th, 2008)
The Rams and Kings Organization are pleased to announce that they have secured a major sponsorship deal for the next five years.
Grant Furlane of Ontario Lightning Hockey Clubs and David Blyth, President and GM of the Richmond Hill Rams and Espanola Kings, have come to an agreement that will have them become one of most stable hockey organizations providing their players with one of the most extensive and comprehensive training programs among Jr. Hockey Teams.
As part of the sponsorship agreement, the Rams have agreed to change their name to the Ontario Lightning Rams and will develop a new colour scheme and logo for their Jersey's that will incorporate both the rams current logo with the lightning's. This new design will be introduced within the next few weeks along with the new sweater design.
Ontario Lightning are offering training programs at the Nottawasaga Resort facility which will include one of the very few hockey treadmills in Ontario. We are developing a Jr. Elite Program which all players wishing to try out for one of our Jr. Teams will be encouraged to attend. The Rams and Kings will have full support from the Lightning team who, in conjunction with the Rams coaching staff will be conducting the spring and fall tryouts as well as the Jr. Elite Training Camp.
The Rams and Kings will be looking for players who are serious about their hockey and who are wishing to attain a scholarship or an offer to play at a major college or university in Canada or the United States. Although we support those who are looking to play at the major junior level, our emphasis will be on achieving an education and a select few will receive scholarship funds through our affiliate sponsors.

Sincerely,
Rams/Kings Hockey |
